Female student athletes often feel like they are being pulled in different directions when it comes to sports and beauty. If you Google search “Female athletes” and click images, you will have vast options for half naked female athletes. The next three suggestions for related images are: “hot,” “famous” and “thick.”.

TCU is no stranger to construction projects all over campus, with starting hours a bit earlier than some students may like. I ventured out and asked TCU’s students to flip the script. In this scenario, they would get to choose what they wanted TCU to build on campus – and the answers were not what I expected them to be.

Floats, music, community and tradition typically make up the homecoming weekend, but this year, the annual homecoming parade won’t be a part of the festivities. TCU Director of Student Activities Kim Turner said there are too many “key scheduling conflicts” preventing the parade from happening. “In light of numerous conflicts related to the parade time, TCU is taking a year off from the homecoming parade in 2016,” Turner said.

During five primaries “just more than half [of Republicans] say they’d be satisfied with Trump as the nominee against Hillary Clinton, but about four in 10 say they’d seriously consider a third-party candidate,” according to ABCNews.

Renovations were planned for the Neeley School of Business in May 2016 as well as the creation of the Business School Commons, but funding still needs to be raised before the project can continue. A gift of $30 million was given by Spencer and Marlene Hays in 2014 toward the estimated $100 million expansion.

When it comes to parking at TCU, the problem isn’t a lack of spots – it’s all about location. There are 9,714 parking spaces on campus, with about 7,460 parking permits that have been issued, said DeAnn Jones, coordinator of parking and transportation services. But parking spots are not always where students want them.

Students of the Bob Schieffer College of Communication lacked study spaces until a renovation project created a brand new gathering space and new team rooms as well as updated the Moudy South lobby this year. Before the renovation of the space, students had no established area to study, meet or hang out on the first floor of Moudy South.
